These Terms & Conditions govern all orders and enquiries with James Robert McFarlane (“I”, “me”, “my”), trading as Derbyshire Tags & Plaques (and related custom design/printing services). By placing an order or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Orders & Custom Work

Orders are placed through email (or other agreed communication channels).

All products are made to order. Once design or production has begun, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Any custom designs created by me remain my intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

I may provide design files (such as PDFs or 3D models) for review, but these are for your personal/business use only.
2. Ownership of Designs

Any designs, prototypes, or final products I create remain my property unless agreed otherwise in writing.

I reserve the right to use images of products, designs, and prototypes for marketing, portfolio, or promotional purposes, unless you specifically request in writing that I do not.
3. Customer Responsibilities

You confirm that any artwork, text, or logos you provide are owned by you or that you have permission to use them.

You agree not to ask me to reproduce anything unlawful, offensive, or infringing on someone else’s rights.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent/guardian.
4. Liability

While I take care to ensure accuracy and quality, all products are provided “as is.” I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

My liability for any claim is limited to the value of the order.

When you place an order through email (or other agreed channels), I collect only the information needed to process your enquiry and order (such as your name, email, address, and order details).

This information is stored securely and retained only for as long as required for legal/accounting purposes.

6. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by UK law, and any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of UK courts.
